The main thing when choosing is to be guided by the following principles:

• dimensions of the room. Measure the hallway and draw a plan that includes furniture. Even the most beautiful pouf or sofa will be out of place if it interferes with the passage;
• shape of the room. If the room is too elongated, then you should not place furniture with decorative curves and free form here; it will steal precious square meters of space. But for rooms with a square shape it is more suitable;
• functionality. If you cannot place a lot of furniture in the space, you need to choose items that will perform several functions at once: have internal drawers, shelves, built-in shoe rack, etc.;

Sofas for the hallway

A sofa at the entrance to the house is suitable only for those who have large space in the hallway. This piece of furniture needs space; you shouldn’t put a sofa in a small hallway and clutter it up.
